ZW-1.0/(3~5)-23 carbon dioxide compressor is an oil-free reciprocating piston compressor. The machine has the characteristics of low energy consumption, low noise, low vibration, high reliability and simple operation.
This compressor is used to transport carbon dioxide and similar gases (if other gases need to be transported, please contact the manufacturer for communication and confirmation), and the field staff must abide by relevant safety laws and regulations. We must establish and improve effective rules and regulations and operating procedures. Violation of safety laws, regulations and rules may lead to serious consequences!
Oil-free lubrication in this compressor means that the cylinder does not need oil lubrication, but the moving mechanisms such as crankshaft and connecting rod must have oil lubrication. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to start the compressor without adding oil to the crankcase or with insufficient oil, otherwise the compressor will be seriously damaged due to lack of oil.
The maintenance and repair of compressor must be stopped and carried out under no pressure. During disassembly and inspection, the gas inside the machine should be completely released before proceeding.

The CO2 compressor mainly includes lubrication, gas circuit, cooling and electrical system. They are explained separately below.
1. lubrication system.
1）Lubrication of bearings, crankshafts, connecting rods and crosshead guides.
They are lubricated by a spindle head pump. In this lubrication system, the oil passes through the crude oil filter installed at the bottom of the crankcase, passes through the shaft head pump, enters the oil fine filter, and finally enters the crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead pin and crosshead, and reaches all lubricating points. Lubricate the big head bush of connecting rod, small head bush of connecting rod and crosshead guide rail.Rolling bearings of crankshaft are lubricated by splashing oil.
2) Cylinder lubrication.
Cylinder lubrication is to form a very thin solid lubricating film between cylinder mirror and guide ring and piston ring made of PTFE, which plays a self-lubricating role without lubricating oil.
2. Gas path system.
The function of the gas circuit system is mainly to lead the gas to the compressor. After being compressed by the compressor at various stages, it will be led to the place of use.
The gas after passing through the inlet filter, buffer, inlet valve, cylinder, exhaust valve and pressurization is output through the exhaust buffer and cooler. The pipeline equipment constitutes the main gas pipeline of compressor, and the gas pipeline system also includes safety valve, pressure gauge, thermometer, etc.
Note:
1、The opening pressure of the first-class safety valve is 1.7MPa (DN2), and that of the second-class safety valve is 2.5MPa(DN15).
2、The air inlet flange of this machine is DN50-16(JB/T81) standard flange, and the air outlet flange is DN32-16(HG20592) standard flange.
3、Safety valves shall be inspected regularly according to relevant regulations.
Start preparation:
Start-up for the first time-Before starting up, check whether the electrical parts are installed completely according to the following items and the wiring is correct before closing the main power circuit breaker in the electric control cabinet, and then operate according to normal procedures.
a)Connect the power cord and ground wire, and check whether the voltage is correct and whether the three-phase voltage is balanced.
b)Check and tighten the primary and secondary electrical wiring to make the wiring firm and reliable.
c)Check that the compressor oil level is normal.
Inching test turns correctly. (indicated by the motor arrow)
Note: If the phase of the power supply is inconsistent, the two-phase power cord should be adjusted. Steering test is still an important step for new machine startup, and it should be redone after motor overhaul.
Before start-up, all valves shall be opened and closed correctly according to the process requirements, and all power circuit breakers shall be closed and no alarm shall be given before start-up.
